All mold design is performed in Solidworks and Surf Cam and is based off of your solid part file. No drawings are produced. All work is performed in the quickest most direct way possible to expedite the process.
Because of this streamlined approach our typical mold project only requires two weeks to complete. Our CNC software and machinery helps us elevate your molding projects to the professional levels you are expecting.
Aluminum molds are great for pre-production or limited production use. Aluminum molds will produce upwards of 30,000 cycles dependent on part geometry without any additional maintenance costs of delays. Aluminum is an excellent material in this application because of its free machining qualities, low cost and generous availability. Since total production will be limited the increased hardness of steel is not required.
